Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s Safe Housing programs provide more than just a roof—they offer refuge, stability, and a chance to begin again. For men, women, and mothers with children facing addiction, homelessness, or deep life challenges, our residential housing is a safe and sacred space to rebuild.
Rooted in faith and led with compassion, we offer residents a home away from home where they can rediscover who they were always meant to be.
What We Offer
We offer four distinct residential programs tailored to individuals at different stages of recovery and life transition:
New Life Program
For men and women in recovery, this long-term program includes work therapy, counseling, and 15 hours of weekly education focused on spiritual growth, addiction recovery, and life transformation.
Abundant Life Program
For individuals not in addiction recovery, this 90-day program offers temporary housing, life skills classes, case management, and connections to employment and housing resources.
Transitional Living
For Life Change Program graduates, this structured, sober living option supports job training, employment search, and continued personal growth. Participants commit to regular recovery meetings, church attendance, and responsibility agreements.
Supportive Housing
The final stage in the housing continuum, this program offers a stable environment for those preparing to live independently, providing time to work, save, and plan for the future.
Each program includes classes and support focused on financial literacy, emotional healing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and spiritual development, including our special Mommy & Me track for mothers with children.
