Food Programs

All food programs are provided free of charge to anyone who is hungry, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or socioeconomic group.

On-site meals

We serve nutritious meals in our dining room three times a day, every day of the year, to our residents and shelter guests as well as individuals and families from the community.

Mobile Kitchens

Our Mobile Kitchens serve freshly prepared meals in impoverished neighborhoods in Bridgeport and South Norwalk. Volunteers serve these meals with encouraging words and prayer to guests who are unable to come to our Main Campus.

Food Pantry

In Fairfield County, many people struggle to put food on the table because 70% of their paycheck goes to rent. Our Pantry offers fresh produce, dry goods, meats, and dairy to enable them to feed their families.

Great ThanksGiving Project

It’s the Mission’s largest outreach of the year! More than 3,200 families will receive a turkey and bag of fixings along with winter coats during this annual event.

Did You Know?

The Mission provides more than 565,000 meals each year through Mobile Kitchen distributions, Great ThanksGiving Project, Pantry, and Dining Room meals.
