The Great ThanksGiving Project 2017-04-27T14:59:34+00:00

Each year you can witness for yourself the relieved smiles of parents, the delighted eyes of children and the grateful faces of the lonely as they are presented with everything they need to prepare a home cooked Thanksgiving dinner. During our Great ThanksGiving Project, BRM provides 3,000 frozen turkeys and 15,000 winter coats to anyone in need. Hundreds of volunteers help by forming Turkey Teams, donating turkeys and all the fixings in addition to collecting gently used winter coats.

Donate Meals with each $2.50 you will provide a delicious Thanksgiving meal with turkey and all the fixings – along with a heaping side of hope – to someone who otherwise would spend Thanksgiving hungry and alone. Click here to give a gift.

Organize a Coat Drive by emailing friends and co-workers and putting a large box in a central location for collection. Deliver coats in large bags to the Donation Center at 1069 Connecticut Ave, Unit 2B, Bridgeport, Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please download a flyer here.

Form a Turkey Team with family, friends or colleagues to donate virtual turkeys online for $20.00 each. Pick a fun name for your team and spread the word for people to join in your efforts in donating virtual turkeys. If you have any questions, please email Courtney Pandolfi.

Hold a Turkey Drive and spread the word. Bring them to the Donation Center at 1069 Connecticut Ave, Unit 2B, Bridgeport, Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

For more information on ways you can help and to let us know you can organize a drive, contact Courtney Pandolfi or call 203-333-4087, ext. 112.
