If you're a woman with compassion for working-poor and homeless women, join other like-minded friends at Bridgeport Rescue Mission's fourth annual Hearts of Hope Women's Reception. The event benefits the Mission's long-term recovery program and emergency shelter for women in Fairfield County. An opportunity to give will be presented during the program.

 “God saved a wretch like me,” says Betty Thomas, a once broken and battered addict. “At the Mission I stayed still and allowed God to change my life.” Betty graduated from our long-term recovery program in June and now works in our Women’s Shelter. “I wanted to give back to the program that had given so much to me,” she says.
